Coast or Mountain

There is a big difference between the flight on the coast and the mountains. I can not say what kind of flight is beautiful. In both, the landscape we enjoy in the surrounding of the Cantabrian Mountains is spectacular. It depends on the viewer to opt for either one.
On an emotional level is also difficult to opt for a type of flight. On the coast you can be flying in a stable air mass so that only you will be enjoying the scenery, while in the mountains, the game is to findupdrafts (thermals) and come up with paragliding imitating birds and scroll through the valley in search of thermals.
The photos are then put to flight from the Muelas peak in Boñar (León) and the flight coast of Xago in Avilés.
At the end each person chooses what most motivates you. Variety is the spice.

Serra da Estrela - Portugal

Serra da Estrela Natural Park is located in central-north Portugal.It is the third time I visit as well as being a great place to spend a few days, do some sightseeing, bathing in a river of its blue Flag beaches, hiking trails make or bicycle, is a spectacular area to fly away.

If you have something really special for the rider who seeks the flight distance is that you can take off early, even before12 o'clock in the morning can be good thermal spinning, waiting time can raise the roof and get out of the mountains to the flat lands.This time, we were not lucky with the weather, the forecast was for all day to moderate wind From West / Northwest, it appears that June and July throughout the central system are the best months of the year, but despite It could fly almost every day and turn in powerful thermals in Azinha and Vale de Amoreira.
